Reminding all of you that the new hours start the week of Jan. 30th!

The big changes are Tuesdays will be 4pm-7pm and Thursdays have been extended to 7pm!

Our next visit from the Dallas County Naturalists will be Wednesday, February 15th at 3pm! The topic will be Camouflaged Critters. Who’s hiding outside and how do they blend in so well?

Many have asked for another way to find out about newly added books other than stopping in to get a copy of Novel Details. I’ve place a widget from Good Reads on the right hand side of the page letting you know about the new items.

Book Discussion

The book discussion group meets Thursday, Jan. 19th at 6:30pm. Everyone is welcome!

The next book we’ll be reading is The Book Thief by Markus Zusak and the meeting will be February 16th.

For those of you getting an early start on your taxes we’ve placed links to both State and Federal branches under Library Resource on the right hand side of the page. Neither agency sends out forms, encouraging you to download and print them yourself or use efile.

Sign Up For Nixle!

City of Woodward Police Chief Jerome Hill has begun a program here in the city where you can register at the Nixle.com web site and sign up to recieve text messages via cell phone and email messages such as those concerning the community, crimes reported, and when the local snow ordinance is in effect.

This is a great way to communicate to the public quickly and Chief Hill encourages everyone to sign up for this free tool!

New Hours!

Begining January 30th the library will be sporting some new hours due to patron demand!

Monday, Wednesday & Friday – 9am-12 & 1-5pm

Tuesday – 4-7pm

Thursday 9am-12 & 1-7pm

Saturday – 9am-1

You asked for it and you got it, another evening.

Holiday Hours

The library will be closed Saturday Dec. 24th and Monday Dec. 26th for Christmas. Saturday the 31st we will only be open 9-12 and Monday, January 2nd we will be closed for New Year’s.
